JOURNALISM EXPERIENCE
Selected highlights include:

Network correspondent assigned to The Early Show, the national morning show of the most watched network in the US. Originally concentrating on the wackier side of life, I eventually developed one of the widest ranges of stories at the network. Uncanny ability to connect with every day people led to more in-depth profile pieces such as a series about childhood anorexia and reports on the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Also covered breaking news.

Award-winning Feature/Traffic Reporter and a well-known morning personality affectionately dubbed “The Chopper Chick.” Filed a dozen, personality-driven traffic reports daily. Also taped weekly features and covered breaking news. Gained fame as the last airborne reporter covering the events of September 11 which earned an EMMY nod and an EMMY win for the one year anniversary piece about that day.
